HPRP Partner, Fabian Pascoal, Represented Indonesia’s Lawyers by Participating in the Belt and Road Service Connection

Following up the conference of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation which was attended by heads of state and head of international organizations last month, a Partner of HPRP, Fabian Buddy Pascoal was invited to participate in the Belt and Road Service Connection (BNRSC) 2017 Summit held in Beijing on 31 May 2017.

During the summit, Fabian and all representatives of member states summarized the results achieved by BNRSC in the last year and discussed plans for BNRSC in the future. The delegates also had an opportunity for a more exclusive discussion among them in the roundtable discussions in the event. Providing comprehensive services for the Belt and Road Forum, the International Commercial Mediation Center for Belt and Road (Mediation Center) was launched in the summit event. Promoting the Mediation Center around the globe is part of BNRSC’s plan.

As reported earlier, on 14 May 2017, President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, attended the high-level conference of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing. 29 heads of state and heads of international organizations discussed the synergy of policies, intersociety relations, and infrastructure. President Joko Widodo also introduced to the forum some of the investment potential in Indonesia, including ongoing and planned infrastructure projects.
