As part of its commitment to making a continuous contribution to the development of legal practice in Indonesia, HPRP participates in law students’ activities. Recently, the firm supported the 2017 Business Law Competition (BLC) arranged by the Business Law Society of Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia. In line with the theme, “The Growth of the Aviation Industry through the Eyes of Business Law”, the series of student activities aimed to provide the law students with legal knowledge of the aviation industry. HPRP Partners and Associates actively participated in this series of activities.
HPRP Partner, Andre Rahadian, shared his expertise in a seminar on aircraft financing (18/9) and participated as an adjudicator in a contract drafting and negotiation competition (24/9). The competition was attended by law students from various universities in Indonesia, among others, Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Gajah Mada, Universitas Pelita Harapan, and Universitas Hasanudin.
In another academic activity, HPRP Partner, Hendra Ong, and Associate Lawyer, Dece Wanda Sari, presented an interesting topic on the aviation industry in Indonesia in a legal workshop (19/4). The workshop was intended to provide law students with in-depth knowledge regarding aircraft finance leases from a legal perspective.
Prior to the closing, HPRP welcomed law students participating in the BLC in its office. The visit was aimed at the students getting an idea of what working as a corporate lawyer in a law firm is like. On this occasion, HPRP Partners, Al Hakim Hanafiah, Fabian Pascoal, Andre Rahadian, and Danny Sinaga , greeted the students. Associate lawyers, R.A Sabrina Stamboel and Leonardo Rico Sidabutar shared their experiences and insights on how to become a good lawyer. More than 30 law students visiting from Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Gajah Mada, Universitas Pelita Harapan, Universitas Hasanudin, and Universitas Islam Indonesia, were excited by this new experience.
